Greening By Emerson: Solutions for zero net emissions in essential sectors

• Decarbonization of energy sources
  Goal of zero emissions: the first step for “Greening by Emerson” is to implement solutions that push toward decarbonization. Investment in renewable energy solutions, such as advanced biofuels, nuclear, biomass, wind and solar power, hydrogen, and low-carbon LNG.

• Energy and emissions management
  Today ⅔ of the energy produced is wasted because energy requirements for the intended applications, such as in the world of logistics, heating, and electricity, cannot be met. The development of new technologies and software dedicated to improving energy efficiency can facilitate not only the optimization of yields, but also the better use of resources.
  The great opportunity to reduce industrial emissions is also not to be underestimated: acting in this way goes to detecting and predicting losses, going to optimize combustion processes, and implementing other capabilities, such as carbon capture and storage.

• Electrification and grid systems
  Turning energy-intensive processes into electric processes-a key strategy for zero emissions. When electrified applications are powered throughrenewable energy, the energy supply is potentially 0 emissions.
