ASCO™ HOV 148/149 SERIES: THE NEW MOTORIZED SAFETY VALVE AND ACTUATOR FROM EMERSON
Emerson has launched ASCO™ Series HOV 148/149-a solution that offers industry operators a new tool that can prevent overpressure, leakage, and system malfunctions. The new ASCO™ Series 148/149 valve and motorized actuator are designed to be used exclusively together and specialize in fuel oil fluids .
This new system meets major global approvals: it is a UL – Underwriter Laboratories Inc. listed product, FM – Factory Mutual – approved, and CSA – Canadian Standards Association certified for combustion compliance.
The modular design allows for improved features over other ASCO valves, both in performance, price, and safety.ASCO gives us a new, increasingly reliable valve suitable for recirculation of fuel oil and for safety shutoff applications.
Soon to be added is the alternative fuel-biodiesel B100 – as a compatible medium.

The ASCO 148/149 series consists of a compact 2- and 3-way safety shut-off valve and a motorized actuator . Designed specifically for industrial oil burner applications, this new product offers OEMs, distributors, contractors, and end users a new combustion safety shut-off valve that increases safety and reliability and improves heat production in fuel oil applications through a high flow and pressure design.
